A bit of an editorial note on a not-so-happy milestone.
We officially launched More than a living roughly 8 months ago. Today, we have received our 10,000th spam comment.
To put that in context, that’s:
- Roughly 27 to 1 for spam to actual comments
- Just shy of 50 spam comments for every post
- About 40 spam comments per day

EEk. 10K spam. Just started my blog a little while back and so far I’ve had very little spam. hope it stays that way. I’ve also found askimet to be very effective at blocking any spam I have received.
